Drake Waterfowl Insulated Guardian Elite HND Front-Zip Wader Review (2026)

Overview

At $599.99, the Drake Insulated Guardian Elite HND is the premium zip-front pick in our Waders category. The Amazon listing has no customer reviews yet, so this pick rests on the published specs rather than owner feedback.

The front zipper is a TiZIP MasterSeal 10, a waterproof zip that makes it easier to get in and out and to vent on the walk to the blind. The shell uses Drake's Guardian Elite breathable fabric in 4- and 5-layer zones with a DWR finish, HD2 reinforcement in wear areas, and taped seams, and the boots are insulated with 1600G Thinsulate.

Price and stock vary by size; the linked listing is one size of the wader.
