XOP Edge Aluminum Tree Saddle Platform Review (2026)

Overview

If you already own a saddle (or want to pick your own), the Edge platform is XOP's standalone option. The 13.75 x 11 inch cast aluminum deck weighs 5.4 lb and is rated to 350 lb. A wide tooth profile bites into the tree for stability, and EVO-TRAC traction helps in rain and frost.

A platform is the piece that makes saddle hunting comfortable for long sits, since it gives your feet a flat, level place to rest instead of a single climbing step.
