HAL Z1200 6X Laser Rangefinder Review (2026)

Overview

The HAL Z1200 (sold under Halo Optics, distinct from the Halo-branded XL and Z-series models elsewhere in this category) reaches 1200 yards at $111.49 — matching the Sig Kilo Canyon's range at roughly half the price, though without the Kilo Canyon's ballistic calculator. It's built as a general-purpose unit for hunting and target work rather than a specialized long-range tool.

Compare it directly against the Halo Z1000 if you're deciding between Halo's own lineup here; the Z1200 offers slightly more range at a lower price, without the Z1000's premium glass claim.
