Overview

Where the Vortex Crossfire II is a general-purpose riflescope maker's take on a crossbow scope, Hawke builds nothing but crossbow and airgun optics -- and the XB1 reflects that focus. The XB1 SR reticle is calibrated specifically for bow speeds from 250 to 425 FPS, with 10-yard aim points from a 20-yard zero out to 100 yards, plus 4-inch and 8-inch bracketing references for range-estimating game at unknown distances.

The 1-inch mono-tube chassis is machined from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, nitrogen-purged against fogging, and built with 11 layers of fully multi-coated glass. A rheostat on the saddle offers 5 brightness levels of red or green illumination, and the low-profile capped turrets use crossbow-specific 1/2 MOA clicks for a quick, repeatable zero.

Hawke backs it with a no-fault lifetime warranty -- if it's damaged or defective, they'll repair or replace it regardless of how it happened (excluding loss, theft, or cosmetic damage).
