King's Camo Climatex Rain Pant Review (2026): 10K Waterproof Protection When It Actually Rains
The Climatex Rain Pant is the piece that completes the King's Camo system for wet-weather hunting. The Hunter Pant 2.0 handles dry and light-moisture days. When it actually rains, you add the Climatex over it — 10K waterproofing, Scotchgard DWR, and the Kings Windstorm Membrane keep your base layers dry through a sustained rain event. Understanding the 10K/10K Rating
Waterproof breathable fabric ratings use two numbers: water column resistance (how much water pressure the fabric blocks before leaking) and moisture vapor transmission (how much perspiration vapor passes through per 24 hours). 10,000mm water column handles sustained heavy rain without leaking. 10,000g/m²/24hr breathability is the threshold where active hunting — walking, blood trailing, packing — doesn't result in soaking from the inside out.
